ALEXI PAPALEXOPOULOS is a Greek-American filmmaker, music producer, and photographer. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts (2012), Alexi started his career as a music video director--helming dozens of videos for many acclaimed recording artists in the hip-hop world (OutKast, Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort, G-Eazy).
His numerous short films have premiered at various festivals around the globe (Tokyo, Paris, Berlin, SF, NYC), and his photography has been exhibited and sold in several, international galleries. His most recent short film titled, "COMO, TI AMO", garnered Alexi a nomination for best US Short Film Director at the Seattle Film Festival (2022). Alexi wrote, directed, photographed and scored the project.
Principal photography on his debut feature film titled, "JAUNT", wrapped in April 2022. The film is finalizing post-production and is set to premiere at the end of the 2023.
Besides scoring the music for many of his film projects, Alexi releases original records under his moniker Papaki.
